Here's a round-up of some of the web chatter from vacation rental owners that caught our eye last week. If you haven't already participated in an online forum, we strongly recommend it - other owners can be the source of some great advice!
HomeAway launches iPhone application
This one's right up to the minute following the launch of HomeAway's iPhone app yesterday. Owners have just started commenting; they look non-plussed on this forum so far so it would be good to see more feedback.
Are vacation rental scammers gettings more sophisticated?
John at vacationrentalscommunity.com makes a good catch on some fake property. Unfortunately they slipped the net on a couple of other portals. Are the fake property scammers getting better at it - or are listing sites just lazy?
AlwaysOnVacation slagfest turns nasty
This one's been rolling for a while: owners seem to be having huge problems with AlwaysOnVacation.com. The conversation continues to roll, with some attempting to defend the situation while others get a little nasty. Not a good advert for LayMyHatters - time to put this one to bed before someone gets hurt?
